Editing Contacts iOS11

I try to change the street address of one of the persons listed in Contacts on my iPad Pro running iOS 11, but so far I haven’t been able to do so. I click the Edit in the upper right corner, but out of the info visible, the street address doesn’t appear, although it is clearly visible when I am looking at the card. Adding a street address doesn’t do much, either. If I click on the green plus-symbol, it just adds another line with say, Work, but there isn’t any field where I can add street, place, postal code etc.

So, what am I missing here? Do I have to do this on a Mac?

Do you have linked contacts? Go all the way down to the bottom of the contact entry. Check to see if the address is in one of the linked contacts. I would think the address would still show on the combined entry but maybe not.

You mean if that contact is linked to another? Not as far as I’m able to see. How would that appear, if that was the case?

It would look something like this:

Thank you and no, then it’s definitely not linked. But I opened it on my iPhone now which also runs iOS 11 and I could edthe street address there without any problems and the edition synced with the iPad immediatel, so it looks like Contacts on iPad may have a bug somehow.
