Sierra Mail Account Info Window Large Font

I ctrl-clicked on my account inbox to bring up Account Info to see the size of my mailboxes for some cleanup.

The mailbox names are very large; it looks like a spreadsheet where you made the rows too skinny and chops your font in half. Something broke along the way. Does anybody have an idea what could be causing this behavior, and how to repair it?

Try running the combo update. It installs all previous updates plus the new one, which can replace any files that may have become corrupted.

OK. I'll apply the Combo you recommend and report my results here. Thanks for the tip. Downloading now.

I read a post earlier today about this.  If I remember correctly, the fix was to go to Mail/Preferences/Fonts & Colors and change Message list font to Helvetica. What was set was Helvetica Neuse.

Alas, the Sierra Combo did not cure the ills of the Account Info in Mail. It was worth a try.

I switched Mail to Classic Layout to un-ghost the message list font and switched it to Helvetica Regular 12, quit Mail and restarted it, but this measure had no effect on the very large cut-off font.

I just got a new 2017 iMac 27". Had the same issue as shown in the screen shot. I changed the font from Helvetica Neue 14 to Helvetica 13. That fixed the display. However, it is temporary, since I rarely use the Account Info viewer, and don't want my emails to be with the smaller font.

So it is an interesting workaround that might help during the use of Account Info.

Fast forward through time. I just brought home the 5K iMac and set it up last night. Time Machine migration went well. I went to Mail Account Info and it, too, has giant chopped off font! Could something have come over in the Time Machine that causes this effect?

I've never looked at that window before on Sierra, but see the same thing as you on a  2016 MacBook Pro.

In my case, changing the message font (not list) to Helvetica regular 14 or less helped; although the messages and size columns there use something smaller.
