my waterproof i pod will not hold a charge for more than 15/20 minutes can the battery be replaced? if so does anyone know how to do this?

What kind of iPod do you have? I don't believe Apple will do this but third-party service providers can.   There are even some do-it-yourself videos available online if you were brave enough to tackle it yourself! I have successfully opened up an iPod touch and repair the screen and replaced the battery myself using online tutorials.

If you give me your exact model iPod, maybe I can point you towards some links to battery replacements, service providers, am online tutorials for repair!
