Why are purchased albums missing from my library?

It seems like every time I update, I lose more songs. I get that artists revoke their rights and what not, but if I purchase it, it shouldn't go anywhere. Before my ramble gets off task, here's what I've experienced. 

Over six months ago, I purchased a Kavin Hoo album through the iTunes Store. I had it downloaded and was listening to it without any issues. Yesterday, however, I received a notification saying that the items are no longer available. This doesn't make sense to me as I purchased the album. I went to the iTunes Store to see if I could locate it, now the store no longer carries the album. I searched Apple Music. Same situation. It's getting super frustrating that I cannot locate the music I buy. I've noticed this occurrence in songs purchased in single transactions too. 

Any insight or suggestions are welcome!
