Text encoded in movie?

I recently downloaded On Stranger Tides, and there appears to be text embedded in the movie. Subtitles are off. Is there any way to get rid of the text that I might be missing? It's in a few random locations throughout the movie, generally appears to be associated with the location of the scene (Captain's Daughter in the example below).

I see the same text watching the movie on my MacBook, Apple TV, and iPhone. I've looked through every iTunes setting, and nothing jumps out at me as to why there's text appearing in the movie. I just updated to the most recent version of iTunes and tvOS/iOS, and that hasn't fixed the issue.
