my ipod states its disabled and will not functi...

ipod states its disabled and will not work or allow me to reset from itunes?  any suggesstions? 

You are going to have to restore it. Scince itunes does not connect to ur ipod because its disabled you are gonna have to put your ipod in DFU mode. Basicaly u have to hold the power and home button atthe same time for 10 second then release power button and keep holding home button for about 15 seconds ( all this you do it while ipod is connected to the computer) if it works, itunes will detect ur ipod in recovery mode and will give you the option to restore it.

David I don't have my laptop that I connected my daughters iPod. I had to put it in Lost Mode but then her school got it.  We've had it back for over a gear now and I now just trying to get it back to her
