How to create a boot

Hallo, people.

I made some kind of mistake, when i tried to reinstall my el capitan yesterday. I tried every single proposed command; nothing works, except "alt". Thats why I would like to create a USB Stick, to boot El Capitan. The Mac, i am trying to repair, is not able to run with Sierra. The Mac, I can use to create the booting device, runs with Sierra.

I tried DiskManager x 7 - it works perfectly. But the tool can not work with El Capitan, if i dont provide it with El Capitan. However, i fail to place th El Capitan Installer App in the Application Store. I even fail to unpack it.

I would be very grateful for any further suggestions.

Thank You very much

The actual Terminal command used directly (by Typing in Terminal)

Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support

...or indirectly (by using diskmakerX or Ben Slaney's Install Disk Creator from MacDaddy) is accessed from the downloaded Installer image. So if you use any of the recommended procedures, you get the "correct" version of the media creator, and it creates the correct media.

This is in line with Apple's philosophy about Installing: You use EXACTLY the incoming system (stripped down to the bare minimum) to do the detailed Installation. So if it fails, it fails EARLY, before there is no going back.

You need to download a previous version of Diskmaker X that is compatible with El Capitan which seems to be version 5 or 6 and you can download it from the page below-
