iTunes (wrongly) says iPad is locked with a pas...

I'm running iTunes 12.7.0.166 and MacOS 10.13. iPad is on ios 11.0.2.

If I connect the iPad to the Mac, I get a message saying the iPad is locked with a passcode. It isn't.

I can do manual syncing, but it won't autosync. It's not a big problem, but is irritating.

I posted the exact same problem. But it is a big problem because I cannot get the error message to go away even if I select Cancel or Retry.

On my Mac the message disappears then comes back about 5 minutes later.
