Cannot turn my Airdrop ON on Imac OSX Yosemite ...

I followed the instructions by pasting

  1. /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchSe rvices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -seed

and making sure Markup and Share were turned on in Preferences for Extensions but it didn't solve the problem.

I see Airdrop as an option but it isn't highlighted and can't be highlighted. Thanks.
