Hi all,
I've set up my flat with Philips Hue bulbs and have to say I am very impressed. Using my iPad Air 2 as a HomeKit Hub, I've noticed that if I unplug it from power (I usually do this when I go out and put it in my bookcase) connecting to my lights and motion sensors when I am away from the flat is hit and miss. When it's connected to power it works every time.
Can anyone confirm that in order to use an iPad as a HomeKit hub it has to stay plugged in all the time? I cannot find any official documentation on this anywhere.
Regards,
Jamie
