MacBook Pro 2016 Space Gray paint fading due to...

Hi guys

I have a MacBook Pro 2016 touch bar space gray. I love it, but I'm noticing heavy wrist-wear of the paint. What can I do? I've read that putting any pads or protection on this will ruin the screen. This thing is only 4 months old and already looking much older. Granted, I use it all day every day, but this shouldn't really be happening THIS soon, I think. Any tips/advice are more than welcome and very much appreciated.

Hi,

You could put "wrist rest" protectors on while you're using it, then remove them when closing the display. Otherwise, the solution is to use the proper position when typing, which means not resting your wrists on what some people mistakenly call "wrist rests."

This is really unacceptable, am experiencing the same issue on my MBPr Grey. My mates laugh at me cause i spent so much money on this and its ridiculous to see the finish fading to silver. Very angry about this. the wrist strap suggestion is not acceptable to me!
