I think my series 2 with watch os4 has inaccura...

I've been swim 1600 metres in a 25 metre pool since Oct 2016 with my series 2 with os3 and recording swim split times of about 2 minutes per 100m - more often than not my split average is 2'03.

Well today I have completed my first os4 swim and recorded a average split time of 1'38 for 1600 metres! I would be pleased with that time but mathematically someone does not average 1'38 per 100m and record a overall time of 32'44 (no rest periods either).

I've come to the conclusion there is a inaccuracy with the algorithm for swim timing as the watch was programmed for a 25m pool.

100m 1'36"/46 (4 strokes per breath bilateral breathing)

200m 1'42"/47

300m 1'41"/47

400m 1'36"/45

500m 1'38"/46

600m 1'41"/47

700m 1'41"/47

800m 1'35"/44

900m 1'39"/46

1000m 1'41"/46

1100m 1'38"/46

1200m 1'42"/47

1300m 1'41"/48

1400m 1'34"/45

1500m 1'35"/46

1600m 1'35"/47

rest period 22 seconds

1700m 1'37"/46 6 strokes per breath cool down

Total time 33:56 66 lengths

With those split times my overall 1600m time would be well below 32 mins but it was actually 32:38 - does not add up correctly with those split times.

Can someone explain what the problem could be as surely there must be others with huge improvements in times as soon as they swim with watch os4.

Best regards, Kevin.
