How do i fix this problem without breaking or e...

Computer hasn't been turned back on in fear of erasing what's on my computer. I am a college student this computer is my life line! Need suggestions on how to fix it so I don't have to drive 1 hour and 30 minutes to go get it fixed at Genius Bar in my hometown. 

Have Mac Book Pro (Believed to be 2010 model) 

Have the newest version of OS

The most common problem with these models is a failing GPU. The three beeps however could be an indication that there's something wrong with the RAM modules. Try taking them out and putting them back in.

How would one do that? And will it make a noise when I turn it back on?
