Spinning Wheel of Death

Hi,

Something went wrong with my mac at the weekend, the SPOD is freezing my laptop after about couple of minutes, no matter what I am doing. The only solution is to restart but again it happens even with nothing running as you can see in the picture. So I wonder if anyone has any suggestions here.

What MacOS? (iOS 10.3.3 runs your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch)

I'd try booting to Safe Mode > Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support

it will take longer than normal to boot

See what happens in Safe Mode for a while

Restart in normal mode = see what happens (Safe Mode does some "housekeeping" during both restarts)
