How do I get it off of repeat on I tunes, shuffle and albums keep playing the same song over and over

Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

when a song is playing see the two arrows on the left just under the time that indicates how much of the song has played? That is your problem.  You have set this to repeat the current song.  You can toggle thru options by tapping that icon.  This was mentioned in the link I gave earlier (https://support.apple.com/kb/TS3432) but is also explained in the later link I gave but relation to Macs/ipods etc...

i dont have a time indicator on my phone, I have the 2 forward and back double arrows and the play or stop song arrow i did try pushing home and off till it restarted but no luck. i appreciate everyones help

I pressed the home button and the off button and it restatred but did not change anything,

Jenny,  have a look at the two links I posted.  Just open the music app on your phone and have a look there.

See at the top just under 0.09 sec  this is what you see when a song is playing  The icon that I am reverring to can be tapped to cycle thru options.  My guess in your case there is a "1" there and that is why the song repeats  the links I provided explain what the three options do.

My phone shows a photo of the artist only, could it be cause I have verizon? It shows the artist and then you can flip it to see what you have by the artist, i cannot find those icons with the arrows anywhere. Thanks for your help

just my phone, I think I may have a different format from verizon i cant find that arrows icon anywhere, I will bring it in to the apple or verizon store. Thanks for your help
