Sending mail from the wrong mailaccount

I use five different mailaccounts and sometimes I send mail from the wrong one because I forget to change the account before pushing the "send" button. That could be very embarrassing if a mail comes to the wrong person.

I don't think that there is a possibility that the Mail program helps you by choosing the right account before you send it. Or am I wrong?

If not, maybe it is an idea for the Apple developers to make it possible in the settings, so one can choose for this option and customize his own Mail program. The Mail program could ask you: "Are you sure you want to use this mailadress?"

I think a lot of people would like this option.

I totally agree with you.

I would thoroughly hate if Mail.app would prompt me for which account to use for every email.

Personally I don't find any/many problems with the current setup. It seems to select the right account for new messages more than 99% of the time.
