How to delete app after updating to ios 11 on ipad

Hi. It works the same as before. Tap/hold an icon until they start shaking. Then use the in the corner to delete the app. You need to hold it a little longer to get the shaking; something to do with the new multitasking.

I have the exact same problem on my iPad mini 3. I downloaded iOS 11, and earlier I wanted to delete an app. Obviously I presumed I had to hold the app in, until it starts to jiggle, and then tap the X. But then the app started to jiggle, but did not show any X. I have been researching on Apple’s website and just on the web. A lot of people say ‘press on the app lightly, etc’. I have been in settings, tapped ’Restrictions’, but my restrictions are off (disabled). I have tried holding the home button in, but it just comes up as Siri. I have pressed my finger lightly on the app, but still no X comes up. Could someone please help ASAP?!
