Apple Watch cosmetic damage


I am using my watch for almost 10 months,like twice or thrice a week since I use another watch too. I don’t carry it to Gym as well. Everything was fine,but last week it suddenly started to rust around the Digital Crown. And corroding as well. I took it to apple store,but they refused to handle since it’s cosmetic damage. I called apple support and they insisted them to take the watch. And a person from india told me that he would help me with this case,since it was a rare case. But till not I haven’t received any call from the person who told he’l take care,if I call him up through 00 0800****,he is away. I’m having a very though time with apple. I’m using all the devices since 3GS and this is my first issue and apple is treating me very badly. My case number is ****.please help me.

That person from India may not be an Apple person, in fact I would bet on it.   If you have passed over any personal details, password, appleID etc, change them immediately.  How did you make contact with this person, did the store introduce him?

He is an official person,because he spoke to the manager in authorised apple store and he made them collect the watch from me to research about the issue. I contacted this person from a toll free number(apple support india)

If I am being ultra cautious, it is because I have some knowledge of Apple authorised re-sellers in India.   So you gave it to a representative from the store who you knew and recogised?   Have you checked with the store that they have the watch and if so, where they have sent it?   My concern on your behalf is to help you establish what is happening.

Sir I went to the store,they refused to get the watch from me since they haven’t seen such kind of an issue. So they asked me to seek support from apple support. I got the number from internet(apple india support) and made a call,and I explained my situation to them so they told they try helping me and they spoke to the store through my phone(because I was doing this from the store) and they collected the watch from me. But I never got any help till now. I called the store,they told that they haven’t got any update from apple support regarding my watch so they haven’t anything.
