Unresponsive with Screen Protector After Updates

Good Day,

     After updating my to WatchOS 4, my touch would not work with a screen protector on?

       it works fine without the protector, i have tried others but none work. the watch works fine

       without the screen protector.

Some other users have experienced the same change in behaviour under watchOS 4.

There is no user option for adjusting screen sensitivity,
