Accidentally restored an old iTunes back up. No...
I noticed in one of my playlists that there were only 50 songs. This particular playlists I have been creating for years and should have over 500 songs in.
I googled how to get my old songs back. It said to move a file called iTunes library .xml to my desktop and then delete another file ending in .itl. I did that and imported the .xml file. This made all my playlists from over 6 months ago appear but deleted all the changes I made since.
In an attempt to undo what I just did, I recovered the deleted .itl file from the trash, but now I can't get my iTunes back to where it was an hour ago.
Please please help.
I am desperate.
