Series 3 LTE

Hi, Does anybody know if there is any kind of link between the purchased country / LTE carrier?

 

My use case is that i'm frequently in Germany where the LTE version will be available to purchase, nevertheless I use a provider from Czech Republic.

 

If I purchase it now from Germany will i be able to use it with a Czech provider once released in the country?

Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) is not locked to any specific carrier or country.

 

The cellular features require a carrier plan in your country that includes support for Apple Watch.

 

If buying Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) in another country, you would need to buy a model that supports the relevant LTE and UMTS bands for your country and supported carrier.

 

There are three different regional versions of Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), each supporting different LTE and UMTS bands, as detailed here:

 

 

If in doubt, I suggest that you contact your intended carrier to ask whether any given model can be used on their network.

 

Also keep in mind that warranty service may be restricted to the country in which Apple Watch is originally purchased:
