User just changed from Admin to Standard.

Hello All,

Operating System: macOS High Sierra

So I decided to change my username using system preferences by unlocking the lock and right clicking on the admin profile and choosing advanced.

All was well and I wrote my full name and my chosen username and then I clicked Apply and then re-locked the lock. SUDDENLY, my profile changed from admin to standard user and when I tried unlocking the lock again it requested my username and password and I wrote the one I supposedly set but It wouldn't unlock.

So Apparently now I dont know my new username and password. Can someone please tell me how to return to being the Admin ? or how to change my Admin username and password again?

P.S. I dont have a FileVault and I cannot change my password using icloud because I did not click that option.
