Apps now missing in iTunes

Just updated to iOS 11.0.1 this morning. The first major issue...

1) In iTunes, the Apps drop down menu is missing. So is the option to view the apps when I click on the iPhone icon. I can no longer move apps around, view which ones are installed, let alone delete/install them.

I just did an iPhone backup several days ago, and I had no problem finding the apps in either location at that time. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
