Macbook Pro mic not working in Facetime.

Hi all,

I've been using my laptop to Facetime my wife from Facebook.com for the last year or so with no problems whatsoever.  I use a set of headphones with in-built microphone, and this worked fine until I updated recently my Macbook.  Now she can't hear anything I'm saying when I call, but I can hear her fine.  I've tried calling a few other people with the same result.  I've tested my headphones and headphones socket, and they're working fine (recorded in Garage Band, and spoke to the wife on my mobile phone with them).  I've also tried using the internal Macbook mic, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Anyone else had this problem, and managed to find a solution??  I've searched for one myself but had no joy.

Any help is much appreciated!
