Attaching photos or documents to e mails

Since updating to OS Sierra I cannot attach photos or documents to e mails as files are too big - I used to be able to attach several. I get a message saying "this message contains attachments that are still being loaded".

Try Preview for Mac: Resize or rotate an image in Preview.
