how do i import music from my iphone to my itun...

My iphone has music from my old computer (imported CDs) that won't sync from the phone to my new computer's itunes library.  It appears when i sync music library it will wipe out the library on the phone.  How do i force the music on the phone onto itunes?  (or must i use iCloud)?  Thanks,
