Microsoft Office 2011 No Longer Supported

I use Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, mostly for Word docs, and Excel sheets. I understand 2011 will no longer be supported and will not work on High Sierra. This means I need to buy a copy of Office 2016 for Mac, and install it.

(Another expense.) Should I uninstall 2011 version or just leave it?
