Error message when trying to activate unlock wi...

I have the Apple Watch 3 and MacBook Pro (2016, Sierra 10.12.6). When I tried to activate the unlock with AW, I got the error message that unlocking my Mac is not supported by my AW and my Mac needs to be updated. But it is. I have tried logging off and on iCloud, restarting both the Mac and the AW and tried all the steps that has been mentioned in various articles. When I check the system information on my Mac is says that automatic unlock is supported.

Anyone have the same problem? How can this be fixed?
