computer name

we purchased a used 2017 MacBook pro. it was wiped clean, however, still has original owners name attached.

How do we delete?

Not clear what you mean by "computer name." The name shown on the login screen? The name of the computer as it appears on other networked devices?

To change the name of the computer, go to System Preferences > Sharing > Computer Name.
