"No Updates Available" but High Sierra is avail...

I have two computers that are telling me there are "No Updates Available".  I want to update to High Sierra and both computers qualify, but I am wondering why the App Store is not telling me that the update is available.

#1  Brand new out-of-the-box iMac 5k 27 inch 2017, came with Sierra 10.12.6 installed. I received the computer yesterday and migrated data from my old computer via Time Machine (was iMac 27 inch late 2012 running El Capitan).  The new iMac did show that I had updates to Safari, Remote Desktop Client, Pages, Keynote, Numbers, and iMovie.  After those were updated, it now says "No Updates Available".

#2  Mid 2011 Macbook Air, currently running El Capitan 10.11.6.  Have 35GB of available space on the SSD (Apple requirement for the High Sierra upgrade is 14GB I believe).  Recently updated Safari to version 11.0.  App Store says "No Updates Available".

I chatted with Apple Support Friday night and the guy said "sometimes that happens" as to why my system doesn't know there are updates available.  He showed me how to install High Sierra anyway from the Apple website.  I will do this, but first want to try to figure out why BOTH of my Mac OS systems are doing the same thing.  Is Apple not strongly pushing the upgrade to High Sierra?

Rocket88,

macOS High Sierra is not an Update, it is an "Upgrade."

Use the "Featured" tab in the App Store to find High Sierra.

Where did the Apple Support Agent direct you to go to get High Sierra?

I'm surprised that the Agent directed you to go a different download source!
