Time Machine is off but keeps telling me it has...

I have an iMac and a MacBook Air. A couple of months ago, since both machines were getting slow, I reinstalled the Sierra OS from scratch on the iMac and using Time Machine restored my apps and settings. I then installed the OS on the MacBook Air, which has never used Time Machine. I used the Migration Assistant to transfer all information from the iMac to the MacBook Air.

 

Since then, I keep getting notifications on the MacBook Air saying that I haven't backed it up in x days! Everywhere I have looked says that to turn these notifications off, I have to turn of Time Machine but it isn't on. I have tried turning it on and then off again to see if this will reset the notifications but that hasn't made any difference.

 

It is only a little thing but it is very annoying to keep being told that I haven't backed up when I don't want to back up and have never backed it up in the first place. I assume that since Time Machine was on the iMac, that some setting or other has been transferred but I can't find out which one or how to update it.
