Webcam blurry

The tutuorials at this link shows a very clear webcam.

No matter what I try with my MacBook Air Late-2010 13" webcam, my video/pictures are always fuzzy.  I have used Facetime, Ichat, & Google video chat. 

Does anyone have pointers on diagnosing this issue?  I have already spoken with AppleCare support to no avail. 

The built in camera requires good lightning conditions.

In low level light the image will apear noisy and fuzzy.

Try adding some extra light on yourself (and likewise on your counterpart )

I found out that the IPad2, IPhone4, and MacBook Pro all have a facetime HD camera.  The Macbook Air has a standard facetime camera.   Also you are correct about the lighting.

On Macbook Pro in same lighting conditions, I experienced crystal clear camera for 2 years then one day, fuzzy.  Same space, same lighting, surface is clear.  Go figure.
