Middle row of Macbook Pro keys become unrespons...

Hi all,

So heres the deal, I have an old Macbook Pro 13" (2011), I know its old now but its been serving me well until this very day and does exactly what I need it too do... But heres the problem.

About 2 months ago I was using my Macbook (like I would any other day) and I was typing when suddenly my whole keyboard became unresponsive, none of the letters worked, so I started mashing the buttons on my keyboard and after about 20-30 seconds they started working and that was that, everything was normal again...

I'm trying to find the best way to explain this problem because its probably going to come across as my keys being dirty but I'm 99.9% sure that is not the issue. Over the past week or so it all started. The issue is purely directed at the middle row of keys on my laptop 'asdfghjkl'. 1 minute they will be working absolutely fine (like now as I'm typing this) and then the next minute they will become unresponsive and I'll have to press them 5-6 times before it registers a press. There is absolutely no pattern to this happening. If it happens I basically start mashing the keys and it works again perfectly for another 5 minutes or so. I notice it happens more often if I leave my laptop idle for a few minutes and come back. The reason I've ruled out the problem as being dirty keys is because they'll be working absolutely perfectly and then suddenly they're become unresponsive out of nowhere.

I have tried taking the keys out of the keyboard and cleaning them. I have taken out the RAM and cleaned it. I have taken the battery out and cleaned it. I have tried booting into Windows via Bootcamp and the problem translates over there as well. I have tried pressing the option key 5 times like some people have advised... Nothing. Its just a completely random problem.

Cheers
