Is it possible to dual boot Windows10 and Ubunt...

I would like to know if it is possible to have a copy of both Windows 10 and Ubuntu on the same external flash drive that allow me to choose which to run from boot up just like windows to go (or the Ubuntu equivalent).

To give more detail, I would like to be able to run windows from the flash drive and use it like normal (running applications and storing files etc.) and have the choice to boot Ubuntu from that same flash drive and do the same thing (not at the same time obviously).  I would like to use my internal storage solely for MacOs.  If it is possible I would also like to have a third partition on the flash drive for some shared storage.

I have been able to run each individually off the external drive but I am unsure if it is possible to have them both there at the same time. I have seen online the use of applications like YUMI that look like they do this sort of thing.  But I am unsure if this is just for installing OSs rather than running them outright off the USB.  Also, YUMI looks like it needs a BIOS computer which I do not know if it will work off a MacBook pro (early 2013 Retia).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
