iPhoto Lion and Sierra import. Some photos gone

Hi!

I have a Macbook with Lion and IMac with Sierra.

I have four Iphoto files I'd like to export to my Imac.

However. Some photo files are missing after the import. I have no idea which files.

2009 - 10395 pics. On Imac 10146 pics

2010 - 4937 pics. On Imac 4848 pics.

2011 - 3733 pics. On Imac 3494 pics.

Any solutions?

Thanks so much

Eva

You mean Libraries? There's no exporting or importing involved.

Just copy the Libraries to the Pictures Folder on the new Mac. Done. That gets everything.

Hey.

I mean Libraries. Sorry for being unclear.

I did move the files to the new Mac. It said Iphoto had to update the database. After that some photo files are gone from the libraries.

Did you open these libraries with iPhoto? Or the new Photos.app?
