How to

With the update of iTunes to 12.7 we've lost the ability to update files within Apps. Specifically I could drag a word doc from my Win10 PC into the Word app on the iPad thru iTunes. Trying to keep up with the learning curve(s) is sometimes difficult and I can't figure out how to update my Word docs in the Word app on the iPad. Does anyone know the procedure?
