updated ios to 11

I updated my Iphone7 plus to ios11. all my contacts, photos, music and ring tones are gone. ITunes is saying that this phone has not been backed up to the cloud. my cloud account says that I have 1.1 GB of data backed up to the cloud. is there a way to get my contacts etc. back, and or check what information is on the cloud?

If you were syncing them with iCloud, go to Settings/Your Name/iCloud, sign in, and turn syncing on.
