Stand tracker no longer blinks if stand hour in...

Hi all,

I just updated to os4 this morning. My activity tracker is working in general, however, the Stand tracker no longer blinks if the stand hour hasn't been completed. It's difficult to see the hours under the bars, so the blinking bar was the only way I could tell if I hadn't completed a stand hour.

Also, the 50-minute notification isn't working, even though it's on in my notifications settings.

Thanks!

StephDK

Hi

In respect of Stand notifications no longer working as expected, the following steps may help, having resolved the same issue for others:

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Passcode > check that Wrist Detection is turned on.
  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, to go: My Watch (tab) > Health.
    • If the setting for Wheelchair currently states "Not Set", then tap on Edit (upper-right) > tap on "Not Set" and change it to "No" (options are shown in the bottom area of the screen) > tap on Done (upper-right).
  • Restart your Apple Watch (normally):
  • Monitor performance after making any changes:
    • Keep in mind that a Stand reminder will not be issued until 10 minutes to the hour and only then if you have not yet recorded Stand credit within that hour and also not yet met that day's Stand goal.

In respect of the Stand bar for the current hour in the Activity app no longer functioning under watchOS 4.x as it did previously when credit has not yet been earned for that hour, I suggest that you submit feedback / a feature request to Apple:
