Mail has got itself confused

In one of my accounts Mail has gone a bit loopy in that when I receive an email it says it is going to (for example) bob smith, instead of my email address. It has come through to me but under a different name.

I think I have seen it as a few different names over the last few weeks and they are always people I have had email contact with in the recent past on this account.

I have tried rebuilding the mailbox but it doesn't fix it. Any ideas please?
