wifi failed when insert HUB

If I insert a USB-C hub into the USB port macbook pro touch bar 2017, Wi-Fi fails.

HOWEVER - if i unplug the USB-C, Wi-Fi works again!

What is the name of the USB dongle you are using? Does it have an ethernet port on it? If so, maybe this will help: macOS Sierra: Change the order of the network ports your computer uses to connect

Be careful about which hubs you buy. Some generic hubs can act sporadic (and sometimes be dangerous) to use.
