Power Adapter Extension
I recently bought the 2017 MacBook Pro (15 inch) and it uses an 87 watt power adapter. For some reason, Apple decided not to include the power cord extension that they included in previous versions of the MacBook packaging. I have a power adapter extension cord from the 2013 MacBook Pro (13 inch) and was wondering if it was wise to combine the two because I can't find any information on the amount of electricity the extension cord can handle.
Thanks a lot in advance for any help!
It should be OK to use.
Hi,
They're totally compatible. Go ahead and use it.
