iTunes secure link to store failed

Hi all

having trouble accessing the iTunes store since the latest update, other people on the same wireless network as me can get on fine, but for me it hangs when I open it for a good 5 mins (I assume this is trying to connect to the store) not sure how to fix it, tried un-installing, turning off the router, disabling security systems, think I've tried everything and kind of at wits end atm

so looking for any suggestions to fix it (had this problem back in april but don't remember how I fixed it)
