Family sharing member purchase free apps problem

Hi Apple, my child, which is part of our family sharing group, asked by "apps store" for my approvment for any purchase, even for free apps. (1) how can I change the settings so only billable apps need my approvment (2) I use Android phone. How can I approve paid apps via Android

You are not talking to Apple on here, we are fellow users and these are user forums.

You can't, you either have to approve all new downloads (free and paid-for), or none.

You can't, you can only approve purchases from an iOS device or a Mac computer : Request and make purchases with Ask to Buy - Apple Support
