messages app not showing names if region code n...

Hi,

Im looking for a little bit of help. I have picked up a new MacBook Pro and I'm having some issues with the Messages App. Basically names are not been shown from my contacts. The contacts have been imported via iCloud. If a contact has the country code in the number i.e +44 then the names show. If the number just has the local 07 then the name is not shown although the image assign .

I have an iMac and everything is fine with the iMac and I've checked all the settings but can't find anything different. Im running Sierra 10.12.6.
