The built-in cellular features require a carrier plan that specifically includes support for Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), including the carrier activating the device on the plan.

Currently supported carriers are listed here:

I suggest that you contact US Cellular to ask if they offer or plan on offering a compatible service plan.

Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) can still be set up and used (in the same way as GPS-only model) without activating the built-in cellular feature, which can be enabled at a later data via the Watch app, when you have a compatible service plan.

So should I cancle my order then order through US Cellular ? I was told in the

past the the watch had both chips in them to cover whatever air wave there using .

There are three different regional versions of Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), each supporting different LTE and UMTS bands, as detailed here - including one version for the US:

• Apple Watch - Carriers - Apple

If in doubt, I suggest that you contact your carrier to check whether those models will be suitable for use on their network in due course, as and when they release compatible service plans.
