ICloud drive is not synchronizing to windows 10 pc

My Icloud drive works fine for MAc book Air and Iphone 6s. the icloud drive doesn't sync to my windows machine. new build running Norton Security.

Hello nicole.moore.5050,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand from your post that iCloud Drive is not syncing on your Windows PC. I know how important it is to have all your devices in sync with one another. I recommend following the steps in this article to resolve the issue:

Get help using iCloud for Windows

Best Regards

My files were no longer syncing to my PC after upgrading to iCould 6.0 on Windows 10 while working fine on my iPhone and Macbook Pro. If I clicked the icon in the system tray it would tell me the amount of files to be uploaded and downloaded but it would not actually do the work. What seemed to fix the problem for me was to sign out of iCloud (all the local files will be deleted) and back into iCloud. The client is now again busy downloading my files onto my hard drive.

I have this issue too. But I have 20 GB uploaded already, I'm not going to sign out, it will be a pain in the butt. Please apple, check the issues in iCloud 6.0, same issue, it doesn't tell me what I'm uploading. The funny thing is that if you create folder directly into icloud.com it does sync but from Windows to icloud.com doesn't do anything.

We need answers

Regards

Same issue, recently stopped working.  Using Windows 10 and iCloud 6.0

  • Uninstalled iCloud and reinstalled
  • Rebooted machine
  • Made changes to iCloud files from www.icloud.com, try to force sync
  • Signed out and back into iCloud application

Nothing seems to work, and I rely on cloud file storage.  Will have to move to another service until this is fixed.

I have the problem in two PC, and nothing I've tried resolved the issue. And it is happening in two completely PC, one Lenovo Thinkpad and one old i7 PC.

I'm going to remove iCloud for my two PC and use another solution, perhaps OneDrive, because I don't want Dropbox.

Basically, iCloud Drive in Windows is broken and Apple is not going anything to resolve it.

I have the same problem and have come to the same conclusion: Apple does not give a ****!

I have the same issue !!! Steve please, comme back, they are killing Apple and they made bad work !

Nothing work !!! Same issue, no synchronization ! Please !

Same issue, tried everything I can think of to resolve, reinstalling windows 10 and all sorts, weird thing is sometimes, if I create a new file on my macbook on icloud then it will sync to windows but none of my old files will, its as if iCloud is only updating with new files in Windows 10, is a very frustrating problem, I hope Apple fix it soon, or at least provide a way to force the sync of all files to windows 10.

Same problems except I have windows 7 and nothing will synchronize. Apple has a real issue that needs to be fixed.

Most companies are not going to buy Apple computers and they need to understand this is an important tool that needs to work. Looks like I need to get Google Drive working. I also have Amazon Prime and need to see how their cloud works.

I´ve got the same problem, files don´t sync. Yesterday i called Apple and they didn´t say me anything. Maybe its better use another platform if you have to synchronize files with PC.

As I think back on when this stopped working for me was after I started two way authentication. has anyone looked at that?

I have iCloud for Windows 6.2.1 on a Windows 10 Asus laptop. It has worked well in the past syncing my photostream pictures so that I can store and manipulate them on my PC.  Since the  iCloud 6 app for windows this has ceased working.  This seems to be a known issue.  If this no longer works then Apple should either withdraw this software of fix it.  It is their App running on a know operating system.  This is NOT fault with the Windows platform but a fault with the Apple software.  Fix it or pull it Apple you are not delivering on your promises.

I have the same issue BUT I started by using OneDrive, and my Macbook 13 w/Touchbar wouldn't sync to OneDrive correctly.  Spent hours on the phone with OneDrive and finally both MS and I gave up and I switched to ICloud.  Now I have the same problem with the PC not syncing.  Since I primarily use my Mac I'm going to stay with ICloud, and when I use my PC download the files I need from ICloud.com to my hard drive and save them into an "Upload" file I've created, then at the end of the day upload those files to ICloud.com.  This is hardly an elegant solution, but it's A solution - so far.
