Count swim laps

How do I get my watch to count swim laps accurately in a short pool?  It counted them accurately in a standard 50 meter pool, and a weird 55 meter pool, but not in a short 11 meter pool.  In the short pool it counted every other lap and then calculated only half the distance swam.

Any advice?

It may help to calibrate your Apple Watch, including resetting any existing calibration data:

Be sure to also set the appropriate pool length when starting a Pool Swim workout:

Activity-related estimations also depend, in part, on your personal information. To check that this is accurate - and to update it over time:

• On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Health > Edit - tap and adjust items, then tap on Done.
