Iphone 7 + and iTunes 12.7.166

I have a complicated issue. I have a greyed out song in the synced list on my iTunes, I can't delete it or anything, if I right click it gives me an option to make it a Station or some rubbish. I've deleted all the music off my iPhone and yet when I go in to music on the device its all still there. I suppose what I'm saying is iTunes is not working as it should with my iPhone 7 +.

All I want to do is put the music I want from iTunes onto my phone, Itunes used to be really good at this simple task. Think its high time the powers that be stopped pushing the "new music" garbage on us and give the control back to us the customer to do what we want and listen to what we want when we want.

Half the tabs in itunes are irrelevant now "For You" "Apple Music" what a load of old tosh!!
Please Apple just make iTunes do what it was designed to do. Make it the software it should be, not just another tool to make money for you!!!
