Logic Board Compatibility

Hello,

I recently spilled water in the bottom of my waterproof backpack while my (Late 2009) MacBook just sat in there for a while.  I removed the logic board and soaked it in alcohol, then let it dry, the put it back in the computer.  It worked, but extremely slowly.  I was looking at replacement logic boards on ebay, and 2010 ones seem to be only slightly more expensive than the 2009 ones, and they have a few better specs.  Would I be able to do the upgrade or would the older components reject the newerish logic board?

You need to install same logic board as your MacBook, probably 2010 logic board is incompatible with your 2009 MacBook, you can't install it.
