Error 56 after updating iPad Pro 12,9" to iOS 1...

Good day,

I have a first generation iPad Pro 12,9". A couple of months ago I accidentally dropped it and the screen cracked but the device was still in working condition. Both screen and touch ID responded normally without noticable difference so I bought a tempered screen protector and applied it on iPad and continued to work with it without any issues. Also, all iOS 10 updates installed without any issues but this changed yesterday. Since I'm a public beta tester and I like to test the new software before a public release and iOS 11 is already in a GM I decided to install it on my iPad. I downloaded the beta profile, installed it, rebooted device and started to download iOS. After a couple restarts iPad prompt me to connect it to the iTunes in order to recover it. Alright, I thought something went wrong and I will restore the previous firmware because I have backups in iCloud and iTunes. I connected device tried to restore it but nothing. iTunes is showing me an error 56. I searched what to do in the support documentation which Apple is providing in case of error but none of the suggested tips worked for me and still the same. Changed USB ports, cables, computers - nothing! I read that this error may occur when you have replaced the screen or/and home button but none of these items have been replaced, everything was the same as coming from the factory except the broken screen (or to be more precise - glass. The screen itself was ok, without dead pixels).  Well, my only suggestion is that error is caused by some error with a TouchID sensor (malfunction?!) but then how on the earth this thing was working in iOS 10 without any issues? Not sure what can I do with this situation. In my country, there are no Apple Stores we only have authorized resellers or something like that and I'm not sure they would help me without changing the screen or Touch ID sensor which I'm not going to do because this screen is ridiculously expensive.

Maybe some pro users have some apps which can diagnose something more than iTunes 56 code or the only way out is to throw this iPad into the bin?

Thanks for any help!
